Mamavatu
When translated literally, this song describes the goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. Her benevolence, her physical beauty, and her ability to make even the kings of the land bow down before her. While looking up translation for this I noticed that many of the lyrics were focused on describing the goddess’ physicality over her intellect and I wonder what the implications of that are. Filmed by Brittany Elamparo, music by Susheela Raman.
Aghori sadhus/ascetics are often sensationalized with cannibalism, cremation rituals, animal sacrifices, and more but it seems like at the essence of it all the Aghori belief is that there lies perfectness even in that which society deems as imperfect (ex: death, menstruation, etc.). The more we come to terms with embracing that which is discriminated against the closer we are to a path of morality and divinity. Directed by Snigdha Kapoor.

Deux Lvrz
Deux Lvrz is a bittersweet ballad from Graham Price Giftshop's album "Love. In the End." With the help of Graham and my creative sounding board and cinematographer, Braulio Lin, we were able to bring his vision to life. This was an incredibly fun shoot despite the early call times and freezing temperatures!
